I study how states think: how they reason, judge, and act. Trained first in economics, I now work across philosophy, decision theory, and international relations theory to model how China makes foreign policy decisions. I am a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, where I also teach. Outside academia, I contribute to the China-watching newsletters Pekingnology and The East is Read.
